Well, somebody has to live here. On the upside, I just acquired this 1981 KZ440B as a Winter project. It's in decent shape, and should be "relatively easy" to make roadworthy. I've had a bunch of bikes, and done one restoration: 1976 RD350 (cafe conversion actually). I even owned a KZ440LTD back in the 80's, so kind of know the engine.

it was after 9pm! :laugh: the guy told me theres a lot more bikes sitting out there in barns in that area.the bodywork on the 73 is painted greenish/gold metalflake,looks like something straight out of a 70s porn movie! :ohmy: :huh: :dry: :blink: :blush: :S :laugh: im going back early this week to maybe get that basketcase z1r in omaha solomrus passed on,then im done buying stuff no room left in barn!!!!!!!!!!!!! i need kaw addiction counseling :laugh:And you done this deed in broad day light? :blush:
