We must see the survivor. Sounds like nice period mods done to it. I have the Jardine 4into2 on my 650 and I like them. Here is an old Lester ad in a 77 mag from back in the day. Not a 73 but a Z1 none the less

Those Lester wheels were definitely not a cheap upgrade in 1977. Per the BLS Inflation Calculator , $297.50 in 1977 is $1,064.03 today and $352.50 is $1,260.75 today. That was further compounded by the fact that Americans weren't as affluent in general then as now.
Thats why I havent replaced the front one on my Z1 that I trashed in an accident 25 years ago. Still have the rear one on my Z1 though
