Howdy,
Just a note to introduce myself, Larry here in Tempe, Az.
I just brought home a sunbaked but complete 1982 KZ750 LTD. Bike was found in an abandoned storage locker, and it has only 9k miles. Plus a good clean title. Of course the tires and seat are cracked and the fork seals are leaking, etc., but I had one of these bikes ten years ago and know they can be very reliable and run like stink. I am also in the middle of a Yam XS650 restoration! I must be nuts about old orphans.
Found the KZRider website to get a little parts interchangability info, as I'd like to find a Kawasaki gas tank that will fit the frame and hold more than 3.3 gallons. A flatter seat would be nice as well. So which forum would be best to use for those two items?
Muchas Gracias from the soon to be hot south west!

Welcome Larry...nice find and save. Can't help you with the 750 questions but I'm sure someone else will be along who can. I foresee trouble with your name '650gringo' as we have another member who is 'The Gringo' and has a thing for 650s

Welcome 650gringo. Gotta love the 750-4's. If you don't have a Factory Service Manual for the bike, there's a digital copy on-line.
As far as a larger tank....might want to look at the '82 standard or Gpz 750's, might get you close.
