Hey Everyone,
Just brought this one home a couple weeks ago. 78 kz650 w/ 22000km Appears very clean, and runs quite well. (needs carbs done for sure - it stalls with no choke).
It's all original and just passed safety! The electric start is a little dodgy but other than that it seems pretty sweet.
Whaddya think?

Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.

That's a great looking bike! I hope you plan to keep it stock since it survived more than 30 years in stock form. Do you have a Kawasaki Factory Service Manual yet? Ed

Yeah, for sure!
The original plan was cafe racer but after I got it home I thought the exact same thing. It's been this long, I don't wanna be the guy to ruin it.
I've only got the clymer manual that came with it.
Oil change/carbs/tuneup today. Synth oil of course.

Engine was designed to run on dino oil.
If synth oil seeps through seals, would try using dino oil.
Good Fortune!

Risolone makes an additive available at most parts stores to add zddp to any motor oil . I know most folks on here already know this but I even use it in my old model Chevy engine. Now if we could just get rid of the crappy ethanol gas lol
