Really like this site. Last summer I upgraded from a 81 kz440 to an 82 kz550 ltd. It's in pretty good condition and rides nice. There are some things that I'm sure I'll be asking about in the near future. I'm currently waiting on a petcock rebuild/repair kit and a new air filter to arrive.
I noticed that the front tire is starting to crack/dry rot and I need to get a new one very soon. Only problem is that the tire is labeled 3.25 s19 and I can't seem to figure out what replacement tire I should get since they are all labeled in mm nowadays. Any advice on what size tire I should be looking for? 3.25in converts to 82.55mm but I can't find any tires with that measurement.
Thanks
John

Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.

I got the same exact bike as you do and love it. A bit cold blooded, but great bike.
I just got my tires from www.denniskirk.com . You can put your year/make/model in their and they give you the stock size and tire. They got decent prices. There is a guy at work that is a parts unlimited rep and can give 20% off, but DK price was still better.
I got this one for my front and the matching one for the rear.

Use 100/90 19. 90/90 is too narrow. Ed
