Just bought a KZ750 Twin to build a street tracker. I grew up on bikes and rode a 125 and a 1978 KZ650. I got away from riding when the kid got here, but bought a goldwing after he moved out. Sold the wing and bought a 2001 sportster. Decided to ride to the Fla Keys and bought an Electra Glide for the trip. Now my wife and I ride the glide as much as we can (pic attached).
My Dad (pic attached)use to flat track race and I've always liked the way those bikes looked. I always wanted to build one and ran across a decent deal on the 750. Now I have something to do on the days I can't ride.

Welcome jrobinson, your project looks like it has a lot of potential. Check the KZ gallery, several nice examples of 750 twin trackers.
Good luck, keep posting your project progress,
Jim

Welcome jrobinson! That'll be a nice bike when completed. There a number 750 twin owners who frequent this site.
