Checkin in from IL was created by Julian@MotoCARR
Found the site from a post on another forum but not gonna lie, have been on here before in my search for information on swapping modern sportbike wheels/suspension on older bikes.
I JUST picked up a '82 KZ750 about 4 hours ago ! Goal is to get it looking something like the bike below!

Hello, Julian@MotoCARR, and WELCOME to KZr! :cheer:
Congrats on acquiring an apparently cherry virtually stock bike with less than 10,800 miles.
Perfect for relatively easy restoration to showroom condition.
There outta be a law.
Would consider limiting customization to reversible changes and saving the removed parts.
Good Fortune!

Thanks for the info martin_csr! The bars are absolutely hideous, so yesterday I ordered a
Emgo GP Touring bar
from one of my suppliers and they should be going on wed or thursday.
Next steps are to figure out what is needed to fit inverted sportbikes forks/tripples/stems on the front and to see if it's possible to put a sportbike rear tire on aswell!
