Hello everyone! Here's my project, a KZ550C1 registered 1982. I paid a respectable 7.000 NOK ($1.300), but bear in mind that Norwegian prices are high in general. She's not a beauty to behold, but I hope to mend some of that during the winter. There's a lot of rust going on, but behind all that she's in decent shape.

The clock reads 79900 km (about 50.000 miles), but she's traveled beyond that - I noticed the odometer only registers one fourth or one fifth of actual distances, so I guess that's something that needs servicing as well. Also, whenever I press the starter button the main fuse blows, so I presume there's some bad wiring as well (if you suspect otherwise, please let me know). Thankfully she starts easily when pushed.

Other than that everything works. I had to calibrate the clutch yesterday (courtesy of a downloaded service manual), but I drove a whooping 520 kms (320 miles) yesterday, and it went like a charm. Couldn't feel my bum near the end, though. Looking forward to driving a lot more the rest of the summer, and I aim to get the looks improved until next season!

Crossing the Arctic Circle would be a great trip. Maybe next summer!
