1980 KZ750 from Canada! was created by manubati
Hi Everyone,
I'm very excited at the prospect of getting a KZ750. I haven't ridden for a few years and my previous bike was a 2005 SV650S so I expect this to be quite a different experience!
I believe this one to be a 1980 KZ750-H1 but I am not sure as the owner hasn't given me the serial number yet.
With 18000 miles, a new battery and saddlebags it seems like a good deal to me for 800$. Owner tells me it's running perfectly with good tires.
Seems a little too good to be true, what do you think?
Can't wait to try it out tomorrow, and hopefully buy it!

From the side cover with KZ750, it might actually be a 1980 KZ750-E1?

Apparently the same thing but with pullback handlebars and normally different seats, but this one looks to have the H1's...

Looks pretty good. Could well be an E1. Original front turn signals, exhaust, seat, mirrors. If it runs then I would think $800 is a steal.
Mine is below. The seat has been re covered, the exhaust is a mac 4->1 and someday I will look for a 4->2 like yours. The chain guard is from lord knows what. The turn signals are from 2 different sports bikes. It has been repainted, The original front fender was black painted aluminum but I replaced it with a chrome one (bling). I'm not to fussy and have gotten lot of parts at a salvage yard The odometer is just a few 100 short of 70,000 km and I hope to make 100,000 plus without any bother.
