hello every one, came across this site looking for info on my new to me 1980 kz1000 ltd, thought this would be a great place to gain some insight.
little info on my self, my name is brandon i am from minnesota, I've been riding for around 4 years now, my daily ride is a 2007 GSXR 750 street ridden race built. my kz was given to me for doing a clutch in a honda civic, this bike needs some work, but has spent all of its life in a basement, the last time my kz was licensed was in 1983, has only 10k original miles on it, but from being moved around it gotten pritty beat up, but hope fully during my stay here i will be able to gaine some knowledge and get this thing back to its prime, this bike does not currently run "needs a good carb cleaning" original oil still is nice and clean.

Welcome Brandon....you have one of the motorcycles I yearn for (not the GSXR, BTW ) Spend time exploring the threads on this site...there is a tremendous amount of info here. The search function is a bit tedious, but keep at it.
