Hola from Nuevo Mexico USA! was created by Medicontheloose
Hello all. Sam here from New Mexico. Like a lot of us, I stumbled onto this place doing some searching for info on the 1981 KZ750-E1 I picked up to get running as a commuter and eventually throw some cafe stylings to it. This is my first KZ, although I did own a 1992 ZX-7R way back when.
This one appears to be pretty solid, doesn't appear to have ever been dropped, no scrapes on the case, etc. The seat is totally intact, still has the original tool kit under the seat. I'm pretty excited about getting this bike on the road. I've picked up the factory service manual on Ebay, and also found out the owner of the local motorcycle salvage yard is a HUGE KZ fan, so a great local resource to have as well.
Thanks for the info here, looks like I have a bit of reading and searching to do.

Thanks for the welcome. I'll keep the eyes open for that Relay Ride.
Lot's of reading to do, funds are lacking right now, so I can read and plan for a bit.

Here's the relay ride thread. I'm sure gravit8 could use some help covering NM. It's a big state.
