Hello all
Great forum, I'm in the Dallas area. Just purchased a 2002 KZ1000P with 35K miles. After much cleaning and a tune up, seems to be running fine. A much bigger load than my Shadow VLX.
I changed the shocks to lower the bike a bit. (I'm 5'9" and 145lbs). This thing is heavy.

Roger that Harm. Not the best pics, but you get the idea. It is running about 33MPG with 93 Octane. About half what the VLX gets, but much more stable on the H-way.

Nice bike, I too just bought a P series, an 01 p20. I have a much smaller trunk on mine, I don't suppose there is a model number or brand name on that trunk of yours...looks like exactly what I need to hold a helmet.

It is a Saddleman. It actually will hold two full face helmets. I believe I got it from Cruiser Customizing for my Honda but it was too big for that bike.

Harm - no siren, switch is still in place, as well as the bracket, but no siren. they did leave the wig-wags on the bike but changed the lenses to amber.

Thanks, I will have to see if I can locate one of those, I need to be able to secure a helmet if I am to use this bike for anything but putting around.
