Hello All. My name is Dave and I am in the Army (18 years now) stationed in Gerogia. I am currently in Afghanistan and will be headed home soon. I just picked up a 1980 KZ750G (my first bike) and cant wait to get home and take her out. She has 11k on her with brand new Shinko 777s and a new sproket and chain. She is pristine and well worth the wait.
I am originally from Rhode Island (Burrillville). I left in 1989 to join the service after High School. I had a four year reak in service to get a college education. I went back in after 9/11...I felt it was the least I could do. Im married and have 3 great kids. I like to hunt, fish, woodwork and drink beer. I hope Im in good company.
I grew up around bikes, my dad had mostly UJMs as I was growing up. The one I remember the most is his 1975 Z1B. He would take me for rides on it to his "company softball games" which was awesome. I still remember not being able to wipe the smile off my face as we flew donw the highway sitting there in my Bell 500, head bobbing like one of those dashboard dolls. It was a blast!!!
Im hoping to re-create some of those memories with my kids.
I look forward to learning from you guys.
I told you to stop bein' a tightwad & just give him the $

Thank You! I havent had a chance to ride her yet, but she is pretty. Very well maintained. The guy im buying her from is a Soldier too and he has a 69 CB750...yep the original...it was his uncles. A georgeous piece of scooter history.
