New member with some questions was created by jroths72
Hello everyone, I'm a new member and I have some questions would really apreciate any answers.
I just recently bought an 81 kz750 LTD that I plan on bobbing. I have recently came across an 80 kz550 that I could buy as a parts bike and I was wanting to know if any or what all parts are interchangeble...I would like to know if the bottom motor case is the same size
Thanks to everyone who helps

Practically nothing, except maybe turn signal light bulbs, is interchangeable between a KZ550 and KZ750. Their engines definitely do not share the same size cases. Ed

Kawasaki is great about publishing "what fits what" sort of data.
Hop over to Kawasaki.com and navigate to Owner Info -> Parts Diagrams
You'll find parts diagrams for all sorts of KZs there. Once you find your bike and the part in question, look for a little yellow ? button. That'll bring up a list of every bike that shared that same part.
