I'm embarrassed to say my knowledge of motorcycles is pretty much limited to it has to be a Kawasaki, and preferably an air-cooled 4 cylinder (I figured that out 25 years ago). But I am reading and learning as I go along. Just going through the forums here has been educational and interesting. It seems like a lot of good people are here and eager to help.
No not original shocks and no nit picking just wanted to give you some details on the units themselves. Actually they should be an improvement if the shock length is not too much longer or shorter than original. Otherwise, those units might affect steering geometry and ultimately your steering/handling. As Tri said, good handling bikes in stock trim.
