I have three motorcycles a chopper I built in 06 when they were cool,a ducati that's a cross between a street fighter and a supermoto and a ultra classic I ride the most because I enjoy the stereo and cruise control when I ride out of town. there was an add in the paper for a 79 kawasaki 1000 for 800 obo I used to own one when I was just out of high school. So after trying to talk one of the guy's at work to buy it I went and looked at it it was faded dirty and had set in the weather for awhile .The price we settled on was $525.00 I brought it home. After rebuilding the carbs and a few other things I got it running today it runs rough I was adjusting the carbs and it got real hot.I was getting ready take it around the block I forgot how loud the engine was how light the bikes are and small I gave it some throttle I forgot how dam fast they are.It was the most fun I have had riding in years so I had to tell someone and I bet this forum has lots of stories like this looking forward to hearing some
