Hola all. Just picked up a 79 KZ1000 project. I've been digging through the info on here and it's great. Any advice on things to check while I rip her apart would be great.
Thanks again!
Josh

Honestly, what is highly recommended is going through the ENTIRE maintenance schedule in the Kawasaki Service Manual(not the Haynes or Claymore). If the bike had been sitting for a year or more I personally would do a complete carb rebuild. I posted a PDF of Patton recommended cleaning for VM28s in the file base. Welcome to KZR!
