Good day to you all.
Just bought my second KZP, Let the first go after much frustration. hoping I can draw on some of your experience on where I can get parts. need rotors and engine rebuild stuff. I will have some parts for sale because I am doing some real modifications
Thanks Kevin

Welcome Kev! I'm restoring a '78 Z1-R and have found Z1Parts.com and Z1Enterprises.com as well as Redline Cycles (Illinois) to be very good sources of parts and info. Good luck with the rebuild - don't forget pics, original as bought and during teardown/rebuild! (We love 'em)

Sorry, No bought as pics, Bought the bike sunday and had it torn down by bedtime. Prev owner said it had low compression so decided just to rebuild the whole motor, that way I know what I have, any body know of a good motor shop

If not already done, would assure valve clearances are within specs (might improve compression), and perform a leak-down test to determine where compression is being lost.
Good Fortune!
