Does that clutch perch control the engine getting spark? I tested and I'm getting good spark.

It's supposed to keep the engine from turning over. Same with the kick stand switch. Most bypass both of them.

Oh OK. She turns over pretty well just doesn't fire. Gonna go grab some starting fluid in a but and try that

Pics of your plugs? Valve adjustments done? They are the most neglected of all. When the bike starts running SHTTY, the bike gets sold. Also if the leads from the timing are reversed, it will have spark but not at the right time.

Plugs are brand new, like fresh out if the box. Know I have spark but if it's not firing at the right time I know the engine won't run but wouldn't it be trying? When I turn it over it doesn't even try

Are you positive you have the spark plugs wires attached to the correct plugs? I've seen some folks get them mixed up. Ed

If you look at OMRs wiring diagram you can see that 1&4 coil is the black wire were 2&3 are fed by the green wire. Both should have a red wire. Make sure these connections are clean and well connected. Trace your spark plug wires to make sure they are correct. 1&4 can go to either, As well as 2&3.

If it backfired the wires are switched.

The coil on the left side is hooked up to 1 and 4 and the coil on the right side goes to 2 and 3.I'll go check the wires coming from the ignition. The previous owner put the dyna could and ignition on and he did tell me he didn't know how to set the time. I downloaded the install instructions for the ignition.

It's usually something stupid. I have the Dyna S, it's easy to hook up and works great.
