Hi everyone,
Glad to join the forum and look forward to benefitting and contributing.
Closer to fifty than forty, riding bikes for many years and more interested in the older stuff than canbus and all that too-clever stuff.
Have an everyday '02 Bandit 600, as well as an old XJ900F that I'm doing my own thing with.
More importantly here, I've acquired an '82 750LTD, and this is my first Kawasaki. A non-runner but I'll save that for the technical forums. The plan is to restore to original, with only minor upgrades if any.
Will add a couple of pics in near future.
Cheers !

Welcome and good luck with your project. I owned a 02 600 Bandit briefly that i bought at the dealer auctions in about 04, it was a good job I bought it really cheap because at the time only seeing it for a second I thought it might be a 1200. Personally I prefer my KZ650 to ride, the handling brakes etc. were all much better on the Bandit, but the KZ has a nicer power delivery for my tastes , with more going on on the bottom end, albeit with less on the top end, I just don't care for the really high red lines of the more modern bikes. It will be interesting to see how your 750 compares, when you get it running to perfection
