Welcome Tom.
I bet she sounds really loud with that open pipe.
I rode a few years with an open pipe.
Know the rumble very well.

Welcome! Nice bike! did you buy it from a Harley guy? they seem to love the KZ's but shave off all the emblems so when they pass all their friends smiling they might not know what kind of bike it is. That's the case with mine, at least. Now I need to figure out how to put the emblems back on....

Thank you! No, he just seemed to like the clean shaved looked with a lot of chrome/polished bits. I feel like this is one of the handful of bikes that Harley riders will accept as cool, Lol. Not that I care at all, but most of my buddies are Harley riders. Eventually, I'll probably find another tank and side covers and put the emblems back on.

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, that's the original 900 motor that came with the bike. PO stated he bought it with the 900 motor not running right so instead of messing with the 900 motor he opted to buy a 1000 motor and have a 1015 kit installed along with the CR29's. It just sweetened the deal for me. I don't have any plans for that 900 motor just yet. The only reason I'm holding onto it is if for whatever crazy reason I decide to ever sell this beast, I would imagine the next potential buyer might appreciate the original motor to the bike as well.

I have 120 mains.....65 slow jets. What does 17.5 pilot convert to in slow jet language!? Lol

Old Man Rock has given me a suggestion of switching to 112 mains and 55 or 52 slow jets. What do you think?
