Buying a new bike was created by HondaRider
Hey there from Sunny Louisiana, atleast for now. So I currently own a 98 Honda VLX 600 Deluxe that ive rebuilt since this time last year and Im currently looking at a early 80's Kz305 I think. That's what the guy told me it was anyway. Here is my delima. He wants 150$ which yes I know is cheap but he dont know if it starts. Said the poison he bought it from said it had compression. Is it worth it just for me something to tinker with or should I offer him half that? I've only had a chance to look at it once and that was at night. Looks like it has everything there except the ignition switch and keys. What are yalls thoughts

I'd suggest that you just check it out where it is. Pull the plugs, squirt in some oil kick it over with the plugs still out, then put them back in and see what you think about the compression.

Im ok if it dont completely work. I've gotten pretty good with my hands. This honda I.have has been pretty stubborn. Should I offer him the 150 or try and snag it for 75. Im starting a restoration business so this would.be my second project looking at a 84 honda 700 also.
