Hello from Minnesota was created by Seth82KZ750HLTD
Hey All, Seth from Minnesota. Just picked up my first motorcycle in many years this weekend. A 1982 KZ750H LTD. A barn find if you will. Its been sitting for 4 years. Stored inside. In good condition, but not running. Paid $250 for it. A former, auto mechanic, it should be no problem for me to get it up and running. So far it doesn't appear to have ever been put down. First steps will be to obviously get it running. But it'll also need front fork seals replaced, chain and sprockets, and starter problem solved. Solenoid clicks, but won't crank. So here is hoping all the fixes are simple and I can get on the road quickly!

Thanks all!

Seth

Welcome aboard! At $250 you got a real bargain. You can make your life a lot easier if you buy a genuine Kawasaki Service Manual for the exact year and model of the bike (check eBay). The manual contains MUCH info that will be helpful in diagnosing and fixing problems, fastener torque specs, etc. In the mean time take a look at the link below - it will take you to the manual for your bike (the back cover of it lists the 1982 KZ750-H3 as being included) Ed
