Hey folks- New member here was created by genxrider
Hi- been lurking here for about 6 months since I got my 1980 kz440. Thought I'd finally drop in and say hello. I'd like to say thanks for the info I've already gleaned from the site and pre thank for any I may need in the future. At any rate- been a rider since about 1988, sold my last bike to my dad a few years ago and recently picked up the KZ. Was looking for a smaller bike that's easy to maneuver around when not under power- last bike was an 03 harley superglide which was 630 plus lbs. So far I'm enjoying the lighter bike- it really fits the ticket.
Anyway- Hello everybody!

Thanks for the welcome guys- Here's a shot from earlier today- was beautiful out here s of Dallas. Got a few miles in after "finishing" a jet kit install, still needs a little more tuning.

Nice. There don't seem to be very many 440 Standard modes around. most of them are Ltds.

Yep, or they've been bobbed, scrambled, chopped or customized- I intend to keep this bike "stock" minus a possible color change.

I definitely would not paint it. It looks really great as is. Ed

Thanks 650ed
The picture is too generous, the side panel shown is faded or a different panel, doesn't match and the paint is pretty much shot. The tank is liveable but if I paint the 2 panels- they both won't match lol. The original red on the tank is my first choice, but Kawasaki lime green is a thought.
