New KZ550 LTD Owner!

I just got me a 1982 KZ550 and I'm pleased as punch. It's got a bit less then 17k miles on it, but everything works wonderfully except for the deadly combination of a non-functioning fuel warning light and a broken trip odometer ("what? out of gas AGAIN!").

My main problem is that the bike came without the manual, so I have no literature at all to accompany it. I don't even know what the tire pressure ought to be! Does anyone here have a spare 1982 KZ550 LTD manual or know where I could get one or live a days bike-ride distance away from Chicago and would be willing to let me photocopy their manual?

Congrats on your new(used) bike! I have the same bike! I love it except for gas overflow problems. I have the manual and would be glad to answer whatever questions you may have.
