Greetings from the UK, I found my old 1979 ZK400B2 in corner of my garage. I first bought the bike about 25 years ago for £80 it came to me as a "basket case" I rebuilt it and rode it for a few years then left it stood for 21 years (that's when the road-tax ran out) so I thought it was time to get it running again. I ordered new inlet rubbers and carburettor diaphragms, as they were in a bad way when I first rebuilt it, back then I could not find the parts, but NOW we have the internet it's so much easier!

1979. I was a young Airman in the USAF stationed at RAF Lakenheath. My barracks were at RAF Feltwell about 10 miles to the north. I started riding motorcycles about that time. I wish I had more time to ride around England.
Get that bad boy alive again and ride the country lanes it was made to do.

Yes we have great road around here, I have a Triumph Tiger 800 to keep me going until the Z400 is finished.
I've just dropped the wheel off to be rebuilt with stainless steel spokes, vapour-blasted hubs and rims power-coated in black. Should get them back in about three weeks.
