Hello fellow riders

New member here and I am trying to figure out forum usage and procedures. So forgive me while I screw up occasionaly until I get it figured ou t. I am restoring a 83 kz 1100 Spectre during the Quarantine. It's been on my list for 5 years. I am not a mechanic but I am a pretty good wrench turner and manual reader. Currently about 85 percent done and I will post pics as soon as allowed (and I can figure out how to). I started riding minibikes in 1969/70 moved up to a Suzuki 120 Bultaco 125 Husky 250
wr then ibto bigger street bikes. Harleys, Hondas, and a Norton 850 I bought new and still have. I will list some other finished and unfinished projects when I am more familiar with this system

Welcome aboard! Looking forward to seeing your bikes. The Norton 850 Commando is one of my all time favorites as well. Wanted to find one back in the 90's to restore. By that time, they were already too expensive. Something like averaging $3000 for a restore candidate. Finally got my KZ in 2011 to do a restore. Only a retro-restore, not a full factory restore. A factory restore was too expensive for me at the time.
