Hey gang, I'm nee to KZs, my dad just handed down his project 82 KZ550 LTD as a project for my son and I. Been sitting for 10 years, and it came with some parts. We put gas in it only to notice that it was overflowing 3 of the 4 carbs. He had an extra set, but it was not complete, so I made one good set out of the 2. Had it running pretty well today, was good off idle, a little flat from 3.5-4.5k but great up to about 7k....only problem is I couldn't keep idle consistent and tweaking of the idle mixtures didn't net me much improvement.
