Hey everyone,
I've been dreaming about owning a bike since I was 4 years old. 32 years later I finally pulled the trigger and bought a '77 kz650b from a friend of mine. I'll be picking the bike up later this month due to some scheduling conflicts. It's been sitting for awhile due to some electrical issues, so I'm looking forward to tracking that down and restoring the bike.
I'm sure I'll be asking tons of questions in the future when I get the bike and start tracking the problems down. Looking forward to being part of this community!

It's been parked for a long time with some electrical issues. So I'll be tracking that down first. But there's probably going to be some rust I'm going to have to take care of in the tank, clean the carbs, oil change, make sure it still has compression, and lots of other things I'm sure.

No, I had a friend who decided to offload his. He bought a new bike and was ready to let this one go. I'm picking it up Thursday. Once I have the bike in hand I'll change my profile pic to the bike.Nice choice. Was this the blue one one CL?
