Dealership sources, either local to you, or online, are a great source of parts.  Sometimes the parts are expensive, so you can take the PN from one of the online sellers and then go search ebay for a discount.

It really depends on what you need. Kawasaki has discontinued some parts, but the available ones can be ordered art your local dealership, or from places like Partzilla.

For nla parts, a search as suggested by Nessism, or a post here may get you what you need.

Search eBay by part number. Sometimes you get lucky and find a NOS part. I've done this successfully, but you need to be patient. It's taken months and even years for some parts.
Good luck,
Jim

Lately I’ve had better luck getting genuine parts from MegaZip. They always have at least a 10% off sale going, but sometimes more.

Just a word of caution. Full disclosure today is the first time I have looked at MegaZip site. I went to a listing I know for the 1977 Kz1000 A1. The parts fishe shown are wrong, every breakdown is for a much newer bike. Looks like a J motor, VM carbs, 7 bolt flat rotors, 1980 and newer I’d guess.
