Hello ! a few days ago i bought a 1976 Kawasaki kz900 .It is in very good condition .I have had many bikes and now i have a yamaha fj1200 that i had for many years .
I really like the kawasakis .I been wrenching on bikes since i was a kid im 55 year old. The kawa i bought a few days ago is in grat shape ,but it has some electrical gremlins.
I did run on only 3 cyl when i rode it home ,but that is now fixed.I have some questions on the electrical stuff ,but will post them in another place on the forum.
As im from Norway my english is not perfect

Welcome Rolf.
That is one nice KZ900, "very good condition" is a bit of an understatement !

Thank you guys ! And thanks for helping with how to post pictures .I only posted this picture so dont know why it says no access 3 times
I have been looking for a kz1000A1 in the bluegreen color for some time My neighbor had one parked outside when i was about 11 and i used to stand looking at it.It brings back good memories.
I found one a few weeks ago ,but that is a long story why i returned it to seller and got my money back. After that last week i found another kz100A2 but that had alot of different parts from other bikes and too expensive with the non kz1000 parts so i skipped that. Then i found this kz900 advertised .I could see from the pictures it was in very good
condition it also has a long history list of service and parts receipts.I called the seller and told him i will buy it and he lives just 7 minutes from me.He told me that 2 other potentional buyer also was coming to have a look at it and it had been advertised only for a little more than an hour.I rushed away and was at his place about 15 minutes after i found the advertice.
He told me he had it for 3 years but use it rarerly only using 1 full gastank in a season. When fired it up i notised it runs on 3 cyl i took it for a ride and it had little air in frontwheel
I stopped at a gas station filled air and did the spit test spitting in my glowe and touch the downpipes nr 1 cyl was not hot. Then it started to rain and i drove back to the seller .Did a quick check if the sparkplug fired and it did not so then i was almost sure it was an electrical issue. . I told the seller i buy it anyway and a little later the bike was mine !!
i now had the bike for 4 days and have some questions i will post them in another places on this forum
