And now for my second post for approval as a new member, as mentioned I have the 1981 gpz1100 efi painted ELR scheme, I do all my own work including painting etc. I look forward to drawing on members experience and technical know how to change my bike to Carbs all the best

You had me at GPzeeee!

I too have an '81 GPz 1100 B1 that has the EFI deleted, with KZ 1000J barrel and pistons (998cc), now running Mikuni BS34 carbs with 1000J airbox, and bikini fairing from an '82 GPz 1100 B2.
I recently fit the period correct speedo. / tacho. from a 1983 1100R.
It is also painted in ELR colors...

Like you, all my own work too!
