Hello from Alabama !

Hi all, Mike here proud owner of a 1982 GPz550. I've owned it for about a month now and have put about 1200 miles on it so far. I am riding it 3 days a week to work about 32 miles one way. I've been over at GPz550 forums and found this site through them (great fellas).

Anyway, enough of the words as I know you all want PICS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The day I bought it... Kinda pink...

Runs great, has a minor dripping problem which I think is related to too much chain lube... I've almost stopped it, it was about the size of a dollar and now its 2 or 3 drips (nickel total). Swapped to a H4 round headlight for a bit better lighting and running an in-line fuel filter. Grips were changed yesterday to some thick foam type that fit my hand much better.

Only problem now really, is that the seat was reupholstered and is tooooo soft... Will have to get this fixed soon, 30 miles and me bum is numb !

Welcome MAG. I kinda like the GPz's...there are a number of people in this forum that own the 550's. Poke around in the archives...you'll like it here.

Gpzs interest me. I think they are pretty cool.I like yours. Kinda hard to beat good gas mileage huh?
