We are not that far apart. I would be up for a ride also.

Littlemanonbigbike, I have a clubhouse on the Mississippi by Elsberry. Very familiar with that area. Although now, the Winfield ferry has closed for good, so now I'd have to either ride through St Charles to pick up 79, or ride all the way up to Louisiana and back down to Elsberry to get to my clubhouse. And now that the place has flooded out yet again, I'm really losing interest in it. Grandpa built the place back in the forties, and me my dad and brother have rebuilt it several times now. Tired of working all my weekends on it.

But yeah, I'd like to get a whole bunch of KZ's buzzing down the road at once sometime. This weekend is looking kinda soggy right now though.

Right on! I'm 40 miles north of Elsberry off of 79. Just give me a shout when you want to put a ride together.

WOW! Looks like you guys had a great time! I am floating on an island called Puerto Rico! Not on my Kaw but talk about scenic. Within an hour you can go from mountains (well more like badlands) to the beach and from there to the rainforest. WAY beautiful. Nothing at all like taking in scenery on a motorcycle wherever it is you go.
Can't wait to ride out with you guys somewhere. Anything planned for Labor Day Weekend?

My cousin called and came up unexpectedly this weekend so I hung out with him even though he rides a Harley and is taking geritol and knows about the three secrets of getting old. lol So I hear you guys might be riding up to Springfield next Saturday? I have to find out what the group has planned maybe I can talk them into coming for a ride. Keep me posted. I would love to come down this coming weekend.
