Soon, I will begin the process of restoring my first motorcycle, a 1974 F7 175.  I also picked up a 1975 model and found a pristine fuel tank to put on.  That 1975 has very similar graphics as your KV.   .  

BTW, I am in the far western burbs of Chicago area.  Myself and some other locals go out on rides.  If interested, just let me know.  
Wheelhop doesn't have time to ride, he's gonna be busy with his truckload of Z1 puzzle projects

Here's a pic of Moose1800's (Gregg) sweet 1976 KZ900 LTD.  I gave Gregg some help in cleaning out his attic! Ha Ha just kidding and thank you for the Z1 parts!

That's Moose1800's LTD !  Definitely not a donor bike.  I bought a Z1 frame and some parts from him.
