Posting this bike here for a friend. We did a frame off restoration at 15000 miles. Everything has been gone through and many thoughtful upgrades have been made while preserving the stock look.

Frame and all chassis parts were stripped and powder coated in semi gloss black
New wheel bearings, head stock bearings, pivot bearings
cylinder head rebuilt by APE with new valve springs and valve seals
New rings /fresh hone
new clutch/throttle cables
new tach/speedo cables
new stainless brake lines
dual disk brake setup from KZ1000 - disks refinished by True Disk
Brembo 16mm master cylinder - clutch perch to match
forks rebuilt with new seals
New shocks
Gauges freshly rebuilt by Z-Resto - They look amazing!
new handle bar switches
New Avon Road Riders with maybe 750 miles on them
Converted to 3 phase charging system
new regulator off modern bike
fuse box converted to modern blade fuses
Dyna-S ignition system
Dyna 3 ohm coils and plugs
VM24 carbs - sooooo much better than the VM22 that came on it.

Too much to list fully. Needs nothing but a butt on the seat.

Beautiful. There's just something about a KZ650. The proportions are perfect. 

This bike is a creampuff. The only reason he is selling is to buy my KZ750 twin.
