My friend and I played with old army trucks after high school. We ran a 42' radio panel with the original flathead straight 6 and he still has the first one we built, a 41' weapons carrier along with a 41' command car. We installed a 57' 318ci Y block and the matching bell housing and clutch mated to the original transmission in the 41' weapons carrier. It's an awesome combination but it still won't go over 67mph but it will go 67mph up the steepest mountain passes no matter how much load is in the bed and/or the trailer.
