There are so many 650 variations of the VM24 I hate to guess but the mains are EITHER #97.5 or #102.5... more likely the latter as the #102.5s were used on quite a few more variations. The pilot jets are #15s and the jet needles are clipped to 4th slot.

If you search the archives you will find a thread that I think wiredgeorge started that several members listed their jetting for different models of KZ's
I ran a 650 with Kerker and pod filters with 110 and 112.5 mains and raised the needle one notch or two notches wit 15 pilot jets.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info. one more question. i took my carbs off to clean them and i took pictures of how they were put together and wich ports the fuel lines went to but in a drunken haze i managed to delete the pics. now i have 3 possible spots for the small fuel line off the petcoc. 2 on 1 carb and 1 on another the other 2 carbs dont have ports on the side. i am wondering if anyone has a picture of an assembled unit with the lines attached. Any help would be appreciated.

Buykawasaki.com has the 1977 KZ 650 C1 listed as having 15 pilots and 102.5 mains. My 1977 KZ650 B1 with Mikuni VM 24 carbs had 15 pilots and 97.5 mains when I opened them up last winter.

I'll try to get a pic of your carbs, for fuel line location.
