Hi folks,
On my last tour the throttle cable of my KZ750E with Keihin carbs broke and while fiddling in a new one I noticed a problem. My bike has a Z1 handlebar which is a bit higher than the original. As I fitted in the new cable I noticed that it´s a tad too short. I can fit it but depending on the steering there almost is some tension which is a bit too risky. Having a look around again for spares the original cable length end to end seems to be around 41" or 105cm. It seems like I´d just need 1-2 additional inches to be fine. Does anyone know if such a cable exists? I found other variations like for the H model that are a bit longer with the same right-angled metal end piece at the handlebar but not with the slightly bent metal end piece at the carb.
I´s there one for the E model with a bit more length?
