Gee, they must be popular, as it was "in stock" when I posted the link! ( I bet someone saw my post an immediately "pulled the trigger" )

For sure, those could be printed, but I'd need a sample to measure... and, based on my recent success reproducing the Kerker emblem, I'm confident that the little copper contact plates could also be "embossed" using the same method. (3D printed press tools)

You can buy a new replacement part from Z-Power in the UK...

www.z-power.co.uk/hilow-switch-repair-kit

H.

I almost bought one of these a few weeks ago until I found out it was almost $40 to ship a $10 part to the US, I also thought about trying to use super glue but I don't think that would last very long or if it would work at all.

I ended up buying a used switch gear form Oink on ebay and when I opened the box the high/low switch was broken and laying in the box, I messaged him saying I only needed the switch and he shipped me another unbroken switch. This was for a 77 KZ1000 I would have just bought a complete repop switch gear but I wanted to keep my stock four way flasher.

Shipping costs have become totally ridiculous, I agree... I have a couple of small things in my shopping cart at Z-Power, but cost to ship, ½ a tissue box size package, to the bottom of Africa is $68... double the value of the items I need... just can't do it...

You're not kidding, shipping has escalated, goes up every 2-3 months it seems. Check-out Wookies concept but...because these in operation, don't get pulled-up only slid into one of two positions. That's why i use superglue. If it fails no harm/no fail, just replace. 70USD to ship to SA you say Howard? I don't know what the cost of USA small flat rate boxes are these days but i can't count how many of those i've shipped international.

I recently sent 4 turn signals UK to Michigan, "mid range option for 1kg" and that was just under $50

Interesting concept on all outbound shipping, still can't wrap my head around how China can flood multiple markets with cheap shite and ya only pay a buck for it??

I'm sure the glue alone will do the trick but the part looks thick enough to put a staple either side (don't be shy about sinking them in deep enough to do the job). This would then be the strongest part of the assembly with no chance of it breaking again
