Yep, its not quite stock is it.

He's had that bike since 1978 but he recently stripped it down and gave it a face lift (fresh paint job and shined it up)
Its just a warmed over 1015 with mild port work, Yosh Bonneville cams and RS34's, not too radical.
Chassis setup is very 1980's road racer style.

Add me to the list of satisfied Handy lift owners.  I've had mine since 1995.  Built like a tank and I'd describe it as "heirloom quality" in that it'll last you several lifetimes.  Right now, it sits in my basement workshop.  No complaints!

I bought a lightly used Harbor Freight lift table for $175. Then one day I noticed the old twin bed frame sitting in the corner of the shop. It hit me that I could turn it into 11" wide removeable side tables with two cuts and no waste. The angle iron 32" crossbars cut in half leave 11" sticking out from under the deck when butted up against the frame rails. Two bolts with wing nuts attach the four crossbars on each side for quick release. A little welding and drilling of holes I have side tables for my lift table using junk and scrap, my favorite way to build stuff.
I removed the wheels, welded nuts on and screwed in bolts for adjustable feet when lowered. It also makes a good work table when there's no bike on it.

A buddy recently purchased the same HF lift that I have. He was so taken with the IDEA of the lift, he bought me a front wheel clamp for my 20 something year old lift. Thanks Gregory! 

How do you like the wheel clamp? That clamp is way better than the original clamp.
I've never used the one that came with my lift table except to hold wood while I was cutting.
Most of the time when a bike goes up on my lift table it is going to be taken completely apart, even when I tell myself that I'm not going to do it this time.

I like it just fine. My buddy, the supplier of the clamp, was of the opinion that the clamp would be fine to hold the bike up & you wouldn't even need tie downs!   I did find that that the clamp held the bike long enough to get the tie downs in place!
