Michigan Rides?

Hella sweet! Just gotta get rid of those square turn signals in back. I wish I had an older z1. Those tail lights fins and side covers really make the bike stand out from the newer ones and that ugly squarish head but hey it was the 80s, all of the styles were monked up because designers couldn't do better than round lines so they went square. Nice! Clean her up and if you dare to sell it PM me any time of year. I'd be happy to have another one in my garage to be loved and cared for.

My plan for right now is to paint it, get it running. Im going to do it up to look like it was built in the 70' s custom van days. Strip off anything I don't need, tacky bass boat metal flake paint. Rumor is it has high compression and cams. but it also has stock air box, so I don't know if I believe the claims of it being a monster motor. It has the wrong gauges, mirrors and possibly the wrong controls. What you can't tell in the pictures is how good of shape the aluminum is in. Long term plans, tear it down, blast the frame, fix the welds, update ignition , wiring and hide everything, but keep with the gaudy 70's reto look. It also has a pair of mix -n-match rims that I need to address.

I thought I had responded to these posts yet I don't see it there. Yeah, man I am destroyed. My friend is personal training me and now I think I signed up for helter skelter. He tells me that the body muscles respnd the most when they are in complete shock. I replied, "Well, I think you achieved your goal. Every day my body screams for relief and instead I get more pain. lol" He asked me what kind of body I wanted. I pointed to a very sexy girl and I said I want that type of body. He looked and I said "Yes, I want her body." He looked at me confused for a second and then got it and started laughing. Yes, he thought I wanted to her physique and I said No way! I want her body physically, right now! :woohoo:

Who's riding, my other bike needs a lil cleaning and brake pads, maybe I can take a little spin Saturday.

Hey nosaj, My KZ needs the carbs cleaned, fuel filter and new fuel lines. I guess I'll be rideing the Gold Wing tomorrow.

Morning fellas, spring is upon us and I didn't ride at all last year. Work and tearing apart both bikes kind of screwed up my summer. Hopefully This summer will be different and we'll get to hook up and ride.
