The trip went off with great success. Other than a few rerouted maps from rain, No mechanicals, no flats, no electricals, and no leaks. 1452 miles in all with a 460 mile final day from The Rock Store via Buttonwillow Raceway, James Dean's last stop for gas, Laguna Seca Raceway, and a ride up Hwy 1 in the dark, finishing up at 10:00pm.

Carried 78 lbs of gear, including tools, and clothes, averaging just under 50 mpg for the trip on Elvira, while Medusa was always a tad behind in mpg with about 47-48 at every stop.

I recommend a trip like this for anyone!
