Drag strip trip.

Did the clutch arm mod today and it seems to work like I planed.
The pull at the lever is a lot lighter and now have two times
as much useful travel at the lever.
Whipped up this little plate to bolt to the arm as a test piece.

Turned out the little plate worked better flipped over.

I'm going to run it bolted on for the next race and see how it works then I'll
cut and weld it and get rid of the bolts.

Good idea, more leverage. I wonder if I can do something like that on my Z1.

Steve I think with your ball and ramp with the push rod setup
you'd be better off doing a hydro clutch setup.

Anyways bikes ready weather chick says it's gonna be hot
but dry this weekend and I ain't got a damn thing to do but wait till Sat. morning
and load the campin gear.

I have the worm drive set up. If I can only find my extra arm or buy a used one. I was thinking about that today coming up here. My cables would last longer and be easier to pull. :whistle:

Oh, sh*#, might have to cruise out there and watch you whip some ass.

Come on up I'll be going Sat. about noon to set up camp
and do some testing then drink beer and maybe fire up the grill.

Sunday is the all bike race.I'm campin Sat. night at the track.

That start's in the moring.I'm a wake up away from loadin shit
and spenting the weekend at the track..

Made it to the track and back with the new van
it did great towing the trailer with the bike, the trike and
all the campin gear about 1200 lbs total and got a little over 25 mpg's.

Knowing it was gonna be a hot weekend I got my cool on.

With no headliner I knew it be hard to cool so used some blue foam board and did the roof.

Even with the slide door open all day by dark it was sweatin the outside of the window's.

Queensize air mattress fit's perfect in the back. Even at 90+ degress with the slide open all night Vickie still
needed a sleepin bag to cover up.
