Air cond in the window is awesome ........ I could never stand that Texas summer without it.

Guess I should post something about runnin the bike.
Since we got there early Sat. got done settin up camp I thought I'd ride the bike
through the pit's and go to the far end and make a test blast so start to fire the bike
and number three carb is pissin all over the place F^&*

Pull the carbs and I've got no carb cleaner so jump in the G/F's car and blast off to get some
get the carbs back on as they open the track for open time run's so go make a pass and
as I started slowing for the turn off the front brake start's dragging by time I get back to my camp
bike don't roll pushing it. WTH ????

Get the bike on the rear stand and floor jack under the front get the front wheel
off the ground crack the bleeder wheel roll's just fine close it and pump the brake
it don't roll so crack the banjo bolt at the master and it roll's free.
OK it's the master so look at it and a little piece of trash had stopped up
that little bitty return hole and it wouldn't bleed off so pulled it all apart and cleaned it
and got the brake working right.

So, did you make it? That kinda crap always happens at the last minute.

DAVE , you look bad ass ,what times did you turn .? i hope you you can say you did better then the last time you were out.

Man I wish this damn heat would let up I wanna go ride my hot rod
been 100 degree plus for the last month or so with a few day's of very high 90's.
Last time out it was almost 100 degrees in my pit in the shade
track sucked that Sunday everybody was a tenth or more slower but I ran the same 7.34's
as the last time out so I'm thinking in cooler temp's it would have gone quicker.

Next race is September 13 so maybe it'll be a little cooler.

Cooled down some been mid 90's so gonna get the bike out this weekend and go over it
need to change the oil and maybe some new plugs.

Going to call in the morning and see how quick I can get an airshifter and the
software for the Dyna 2000 ign. box. If I can get them by Wed. I can get it all setup in time.

Well can't get stuff here in time so going to foot shift it one more time.
Starting to have a hard time getting my left foot off the ground and on the shifter in time
for the one two shift after that I'm good.
