You coming to Austin for the race's this year ?

Ok so got the tag today so after work went for a little ride to the
local ice house for an after work beer then rode by flash Motorbike's
a vintage/cafe/scooter shop.

Bike ran fine other than the idle/off idle jetting at the track it didn't matter much
but if I'm gonna street ride it some I'll need to address that.
Also to run pump gas I need to plug in the laptop and program one of the
advance curve's with less total advance and a slower advance rate for the lower octane.
I have VP 110 octane in it now left over from the last track day.

Understand the money thing we will be moving at the end of the month so
that'll take my bike money for a while.

This will be the last year for the X-game's here should have been another five year's
on the contract but the X-game people want to hold it later in the summer so they changed game plan's.

I've always been a big fan of weight reduction (header, center stand, turn signals, drilled front disc, air box, alum 29mm sb, kicker, low on gas etc....... thought about lightened crank, alum rims, fiber glass fenders and tank etc too but too much cash)

In the real world all things being equal what do you think that 9lbs will do.... lower your et a 1/2 a tenth or closer to a tenth ??..... maybe a bike length ?? Thanks. ( have read that every 10lbs gets you approx a bike length but want to hear it from someone who see's it in real life. ......Love that pic of your bike at the bike shop.

What I understand is 10 lbs. is a tenth on a bike.

Another affect of taking the weight off the back half of the bike is it
move's the weight center forward putting more weight on the front tire.

And now the bad news look's like the the new owner of Little River has pissed off Steve Landers and there will
be NO more Motorcycle Mayhem race's. From what I'm hearing is a lot of Car and bike racer's are mad
over the same issue's I posted about and are simply not going back.
