Paint codes for Luminous Red

This is Kawasaki Candy Wine Red, I have some fairings in that color.

Type in Kawasaki Luminus Vintage red in google then click on Color Rite. Go to another browser page and type in Kawasaki Candy wine Red and look at them side by side and you will see that Candy Wine Red is more red and the Luminus Vintage Red is darker. Candy Wine Red is the correct color which Color Rite says the Kawasaki microfesh shows Candy Wine Red as the correct color. Or not...this is a bigger pain than I thought.

I found a PPG color formula for Luminous Ruby Red. I will get the code and formulas for you if you haven't found them yet.PPG colors are in acrylic lacquer. I hope this helps you.

DDL 33974.........silver base coat
DDL 72786-D..... candy red mid coat
DCA-468...........clear coat

well i'm sort of getting confused now as there seems to be different names for just Luminous red. (i.e. ruby and vintage?)
The colour i'm after is definitely the one on the red Zed by the orange car above and not the candy wine red on the ZX11.

I have contacted them and he wont release the codes, i even offered to pay for them and I'm stuck as they cant even send the paint overseas..
I spoke with an excellent painter last night and we went through many options on how to get it close to the original (by looking at that pic) but what it boils down to is I either find an original panel and match it or we just come up with a colour i'm happy with..
So i'm keeping my eye out for a Luminous red side panel !! I know it's probably a stab in the dark but you never know!
BTW are those pin stripes not like the originals?

I'm about to paint my 78 A2A back to original Luminous red as well. My painter and myself have been looking for a while now trying to find a match.

These are 2 of the luminous reds i found. The orangie one looks closer i think.

yea that bottom one is exactly the colour i'm after..
Let me know how you get on reproducing it and i'll let you know how i get on.
My painter said if we cant get codes it's going to be a matter of just finding something i'm happy with.

I have an original tank to study for color matching. The non metallic base color is a pale pink/orange, then a ultra fine silver flake/ pearl mid coat, and a Candy orange shade red top coat.

Had similar issue - found this by accident - buddy has a G8 in burnt orange - so bought a test pen AC Delco G7C WA 130X 
- now i may be getting old and my eyes may deceive me - but its gotta be close - see the pics - chip gone !!
