it weights.... a little more... LOL
Actually I don't know but I can find out. The first pic of the 1100 arm belong to Pete "a.k.a KWICK" at www.ExpensiveLightweightStuff.com .. This guy is crazy for Titanium. His ZRX ... named "Calista".. weighs just 400lbs. Titanium everything... from the swingarm pivot to the brake pins.. you name it.. he made it lighter. here is callista's link www.hyper-formance.com/calista.htm
I'll drop him a line and he will know...
AHHHhhhhhhh ohhhhhhhh.....
Wow that is some really cool stuff.
Obsessed with lightweight stuff...outstanding.
Also reassuring to see someone else with the CR 450 brake.

The bike weight is about 450 pounds dry (guessing). Each of the two shocks in the rear would be theoretically supporting 25 percent of the total bike weight, based on a 50-50 front to rear weight bias.
Soooo if the ATV weighs the same as the bike it seems like this would theoretically work. I even talked to some Sno mo junkies who agreed...then I found a set of Ohlins, and gave up the cross breeding idea.
I think it would work, if the ATV weighs around 500 pounds.
Seems reasonable, and the shocks for atvs are plentiful on the E-bay machine.

I got lots of Rex stuff lying around my basement. has anyone tried to use a set of ATV front shocks on the rear of these bikes? I've got a line on some pretty trick Elka's for mine... don't know how the spring rate would be though.?

Working on an inner fender for the rear end, started with a door "kicker plate" made of gold anodized aluminum. It was laying on a clearance rack in the Lowes hardware store....hmmmmm:laugh:

I rechecked my rake and it is about 22 or 23*.
my chain and sprockets are taking 1 hell of a beating, and the roller is holding up nicely.
Thanks.

spent the day in the garage with my wife, she is real good at making temmplates. We made about three cardboard templates, until we were happy with the fit, then cut up and bent the aluminum....
