This photo confuses me. Aren't the Duc's two cylinders (rhetorical)? What is the pipe that is bending upwards in the photo?
Oh - and keep at it - we might be an impatient bunch with A.D.D., but we'll be back right after we....ooh a bird.

The pipe bending upwards is the primary tube for the rear cylinder. It snakes down and joins the front primary tube before coming back up to the silencer Y. It is a very convoluted piece of exhaust piping. It will be interesting to see if any of it is salvageable for use I'm the project

what machine did you pick up? i am looking at the diversion series.Small update before I haul my family up to the bay area for thanksgiving. I picked up a Duc midpipe for $20 off ebay. If anything it hase some nice tight radius bends in stainless. I have also been working on a welding cart for the tig welder.
Thank god I learned how to gas weld in H.S., otherwise tig welding would be alot harder to pick up. Don't get me wrong, I have alot to learn; but after brushing off the dust and a bit of practice I seem to be getting the hang of it. The pic is of the bottom shelf for the argon bottle and the cooler (whenever I get one). A middle shelf will hold the plasma cutter and the tig machine will sit on top.

Still confused, although less so. Why is there a Y in the front exhaust portion of the mid-pipe then? I guess I should find a photo of the exhaust mounted to the bike...

DoubleDub, the pic you posted is the older 748/916/996/998 configuration. This is the newer 848/1098/1198 configuration that the mid pipe I have came from
It's easier to visualize it on the bike
