Thank you Nelson, if it turns out half as good as I hope, then I'll be happy, just half as happy
irishwill called me today, and I am very happy to say that he has completed a new stem and will be shipping the triples out tomorrow :woohoo: Appearantly the threads for the lock nut under the top triple were .060" too tall, and it interfered with the top triple sitting flush. New stem made, no more problems! So, hopefully I'll get the parts in a couple weeks, and in the mean time I can check around on anodizing prices. I still need to mock up my bike a little more for a closer to complete visualization

Leon, Larry, thank you very much, but it gets a little better
In the next few posts, may I present a shallow mock up with more complete bodywork and engine

Looks good. I think that your idea to try a bronze colored frame might just work. You need something to break up all that black IMO. Maybe you could put those LTD stripes along the bottom of the tank like Larry's bike.

I'm on the look out for a paint code/color to match the fork anodizing. As far as the tank, I'm still planning on a '75 Z1 paint scheme.....I think.

That's right, the ghost Z1 paint. You HAVE to paint that. It will look so trick.

The ghost Z1 paint would look pretty trick, and that's still the plan. I just have to integrate the frame color into the tank and tail paint, so there is figuring that out. Lucky(?) for me, I'm a ways off from making that decision.
